The DAS Bargaining Conference is coming up very soon! It will be held Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at the Holiday Inn at the Portland Airport. (The address is 8439 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97220).
The conference runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Everyone is welcome. The Union only covers expenses for bargaining delegates, officers, and a few others. Please refer to the attached Registration Form for more information.
If you need to register, do it now! You only have until 5:00 PM on Monday, 3-Aug-2009. This is very short notice. There's no online registration, and e-mail isn't allowed. The only options provided are to mail the registration form or fax it. Given the short timeline to have this in, we don't recommend mailing it. You, of course, can also return the form in person to SEIU 503 headquarters in Salem.

Just to mention, some sub-locals may be interested in reimubursing for expenses if their members want to attend, even though 503 won't cover it as you mentioned.
